What is Metal Pointu's jewelry made of?

Metal Pointu's jewelry is made of pure silver plated tin or bronze. Some jewelry may include also pate de verre (glass paste ) hand made beads and Swarovski crystals. We also carry a silver sterling line that is available only in our stores.

Is there any nickel in the jewelry?

No there is no nickel and no lead in our jewelry.

Will my new jewelry tarnish?

Over time the pieces might begin to have some patina like the sterling silver.If you prefer a more polished finish common detergents like Bonami , restores the matte finish and brightens up any jewelry. Mix a small amount in your hand with lukewarm water and, with a soft toothbrush, lightly clean the jewelry and rinse.

How can I purchase Metal Pointu's jewelry?

We are based in Paris with 5 stores and many point of sales by authorized and certified retailers mostly in Europe
Our first flagship store in the US is now opened in New York.(see our stores pictures for adresses)
You can browse our online collection and add pieces to your shopping cart or contact us by e mail and we can put you in touch with one of our authorized and certified retailers that may be near your area.

How soon can I get my order?

Your item will ship out same or next day.

Do you charge sales tax for an online order?

We will charge sales tax to orders from New York state residents only.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We currently accept American Express Visa and Mastercard

What if my item is on backorder?

If one of our items is temporary sold out and you would tike to order it , we will notify you as soon as your purchase arrives from Paris.

Can I have my item gift wrapped?

Metal Pointu's packaging comes with every order. with our logo printed tissue paper ,black bag with black or white logo printed ribbon.

When will my order ship?

All in-stock orders received after 2.30p.m. EST will ship on the next business day. Orders received on Saturday & Sunday will ship on Monday, or during the next business day. Metal pointu's does not ship orders on most Holidays.

Is all Metal Pointus jewelry available online?

Our site includes a limited hand picked selection of Metal Pointu's jewelry. We feature a selection of our finest pieces, bestsellers and favorites. However, we can help you place a special order for any item currently in our collection. Please e-mail us and a customer service representative can assist you with your order. You may also visit our Metal Pointu's store, which carry a wider range of styles and sizes

How can I have Metal Pointu's jewelry repaired?

We offer for each item bought trough our website or our store in New York a certificate of warranty for 1 year .
If your jewelry is in need of repair, you may either visit our store or mail the item back to us at the address below:

For your protection, when shipping the item to us, please package it securely in a hard box and mail it to us via Parcel Post or any other insured delivery service.

Please include a copy of the item receipt ,the certificate of warranty (for items less than a year old), a letter describing the repairs to be made, your return mailing address, your e-mail address and your phone number. Prior to beginning any work, we will contact you with an estimate of the time needed to complete your repair.

After one year of warranty we still can take care of the repairs .
You will receive by e mail an estimate of the cost and the time needed to complete the repair

Metal Pointu's jewelry is designed by Bernard Bouhnik and handcrafted and produced in an atelier in the center of Paris in France

How much does shipping cost?

Metal-pointus.com offers shipping via UPS.
Please note that UPS will not deliver to P.O Boxes.
The following charges apply topackages shipped in the United States.

2nd Day Air       $ 25.00       2 business days when ordered before 1pm ET.
Next Day Air      $ 35.00       Next business day when ordered before 1pm ET.

For shipping to Canada ,Alaska and Hawaii
a flat rate of $30.00 will be applied for approximately 2 to 4 business days.

For shipping international a flat rate of $50.00 will be applied for approximately 5 to 7 business days.

Please notice that Metal-pontus.com is not responsible for any foreign customs or duties that may be applied after shipment.

How do I modify or cancel an order?

If you wish to modify or cancel an order that has not yet shipped, please e-mail our customer service at service@metal-pointus.com

I received an incorrect or damaged item. What should I do?

If you received an incorrect or damaged item, please e-mail us at service@metal-pointus.com immediately. We will issue you a return shipping label to have your item sent back to us, free of charge. Once we have received the original item, we will send you a replacement.

How can I verify the authenticity of Metal Pointu's jewelry ?

We are able to authenticate only Metal Pointus jewelry that has been sold through one of our retail locations, our web site or one of our authorized and certified retailers.
Please notice that we don't have a retail location Metal Pointu's in Los Angeles and that the store using our name is not an authorized and certified retailer .
We cannot authenticate anything that has been sold on eBay or through a similar site.
Most of our jewelry is engraved with an handwritten and copyrighted metal pointus signature by the designer.
